Follow the trail on each page to help the twins find their way home by airplane, rocket and submarine in On the Move. Each different scene includes a fun rhyme to help the child to trace the die-cut route with their finger. Tracing each route will encourage children to make the shapes present in very early letter formation. The element of tracing on each spread follows the Montessori practice of muscular memory whereby the child refines their senses through visual and physical interaction. The action of tracing each trail, integrated in the artwork, will help to develop hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity in young children, preparing them for writing through a fun activity.
