Number Team Have a Party

„The Number Team” is the second stage of the „Adventures in Numeracy” project. Each „Number Team” book uses a fun storyline to help children gain expertise in basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The books invite children to learn along with the The Number Team, a group of animals who encounter mathematical dilemmas as they go about their activities. Created by numeracy advisor Norma Penny to follow the National Numeracy Strategy for use both at school and to reinforce school learning in the home, the books also contain a games and activities page while the parents and teachers page offers advice on how to use the books in the best way either at home or at school.
