Shoes Were for Sunday

Despre carte

Molly Weir's memoir of a childhood in the Glasgow tenements: sharing a pull-out bed in her mother's tiny kitchen, running from the fever van, and making do with nothing. Despite the poverty there was a vivacity that kept spirits high — and at the centre of her world was her fearsome but loving Grannie, whose independent spirit taught Molly to rise above her surroundings.
